When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life, (John 8:12, NIV)."
When darkness prevails, it steals the light. The light that is so necessary to find your way.
When darkness prevails and you cannot find your way, you begin to lose hope.
Hope is essential for life, for hope gives you the feeling that whatever it is that you desire you can have, and that everything will eventually turn out for the best.
When darkness prevails, you lose purpose and reason for living. When purpose and reason for your very existence is lost; then you have lost Faith. Faith is what it takes to move mountains out of your way. Faith is necessary to know that the love of God is able to bring you through any and every trial you could ever encounter.
When darkness prevails, love is absolutely necessary. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes and always perseveres. You will be able to stand in the face of adversity and live because love never fails. When you have lost hope, faith, and love, then the darkness has prevailed. Do not be a victim of the darkness but be a victor of the light.!!!
Situations and circumstances in our lives enable us to realize why people do some of the things they do. This came to me as a result of a relative committing suicide. We all came to this earth for purpose, regardless of how you got here, you have purpose. Seek your purpose so the darkness will not prevail in your life.
